Not colorless piety but piety of a Pauline color directed to the Divine Master, the Queen of Apostles and St. Paul (VMC 830).

The first time I quoted this was in 1997--have we learned since then to address the Lord as "Jesus, Divine Master" or simply, "Jesus, Master"? Interesting point.
