God counts on me because He wants me to work with Him to extend His Kingdom by word and action (BM 270).

Fr. Tom: But—as I continue to insist-- not by word and action only! Words…are sounds.  They can perhaps impress but not change those who hear them. Actions… are actions!  They can give signals, e.g. a threat, or a helping hand, etc. understandable at the physical level.  But we are talking about spiritual change, something else again.
