The fruit of our work does not depend on us, but on grace. To pray(er) must precede, accompany and follow our activity (VMC 1127).

From Father Tom: And wold it not be equally correct to say that activity must precede, accompany and follow our prayer?  every day we pray and every day we look around, we make phone calls, we write letters or email, we request promotion pieces and choose good people to send them to.  Will I EVER see the day when ALL OF US pray and  work for new people?
