Save the Dying Association

Our Lady of Fatima said: "pray, pray very much and make many sacrifices for many souls go into Hell because there is no one to pray and make sacrifices."

Let us pray often and every day: "0 my Jesus,
forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell and lead all souls
to Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy Mercy. "

AS YOU READ THIS...seven people are dying. Almost half a million die each day all over the world.

MANY of them have their lives cut off without warning. Every year thousands perish in road-accidents, in factories and workplaces, or in plane crashes. Others die on the battlefield or as the victims of violence. Not to talk of those lost in various natural disasters: earthquakes, tornadoes, tidal waves, tempests and floods.

DOES anybody try to help these poor people for whom our Savior suffered on Calvary? Was his sacrifice in vain for them?

EVERYTHING depends on our spiritual state at the moment of death. Is there a way to win God's mercy for these brothers and sisters of ours who die unprepared? Yes, there is. You can find it in the SAVE THE DYING ASSOCIATION.

ANY work done for this great cause means that we help to salvation human souls with unimaginable power to intercede for their brothers and sisters on earth. In fact one of the Association's intentions is to save the millions unprepared to meet their God because of today's mass-media: Press, Movies, Radio, TV, Audiovisuals and the Internet. It intends to implore our crucified Savior to intercede for these poor people at the most important moment of their existence.

EACH member undertakes to offer one good action daily for the dying: for example, some activity in the field of media, one's morning and night prayers, the fatigue of work, illness and all kinds of suffering, Mass and Communion, giving alms, visiting the sick, etc. These are offered in union with our Crucified Lord, Master and Model for all in the mystery of his Death and in union with the Sorrowful Virgin on Calvary. The Association is under the patronage of St. Joseph, Protector of the Dying and of the Apostles and Martyrs, Peter and Paul.

ADVANTAGES OF MEMBERSHIP

1. Should members themselves die suddenly they are enriched with special spiritual treasures.

2. Families desolated by an unexpected death are comforted by the thought of prayers and good works offered for their loved ones.

3. Members are inspired to live always in God's grace.

4. Membership prepares members for the blessing of a happy death.

5. Members are reminded of the need for prudence while driving or operating machinery.

6. Members' lives are offered in a spirit of reparation for sins occasioned by the misuse of the mass-media .

FOR THE DYING:

St. Joseph, foster father of Jesus Christ and true spouse of the Virgin Mary, pray for us and for the dying of this day.

FOR THOSE DYING UNPREPARED

Lord, for those dying unprepared,
I offer you in union with Mary and with St. Joseph
the Holy Masses being celebrated today
all over the world.

O Jesus, our Redeemer,
through the Holy Masses offered this day
and through the intercession of Mary,
assist in Your mercy those dying suddenly
at this moment.

ENROLMENT takes place when names and addresses are submitted by a local Association promoter, or by E-mail, through my Guestbook Page, or by writing to Fr. Tom Fogarty. When Fr. Tom receives each enrollment he will mail that person an Enrollment Certificate. There are no dues to be paid and no meetings to attend.

THERE can be no doubt of the relevance of this Movement which was born of our holy Founder's, (Blessed James Alberione), zealous heart and mind over forty years ago and gladly approved on February 19, 1963 by good Pope John XXIII.
