Alone with God! In pious silence the soul turns to itself, knows itself better and raises itself up to God (UPS I, 186).
From Father Tom: Although we are not contemplatives, we must nevertheless be people of much prayer and we should not need to be reminded of this; but we do. Success in the apostolate can blind us to the need for God's assistance and a lack of success can challenge our faith. So we must be convinced that the only failure is to lose touch with God.
