Once the time of trial has ended, Jesus Christ will project on the soul a light in which he or she will see what has been done and what has been omitted.

From Father Tom: In an age which ignores both heaven and hell, it is not likely that many people put purgatory among their least casual considerations.  We must not join them, neither being too optimistic, nor yet fearful, but rather maintaining a serene desire to do our best always and never to omit praying for those who have gone before us.
