Lk 1: 67-79

For the apostolate it is morally necessary that it be accompanied by devotion to Mary. Unhappy are we if with the passing of years we allow a weakening of this devotion.

From Father Tom: And perhaps nothing weakens it more than "success" in our apostolate. But our goal is not "success" but endless trial and sometimes endless error. Let us be on our guard.
