predominant passion presents itself under aspects that are, at times, very
attractive. Judas is an example: he presented himself under the guise of
charity (RSP: 332)..
Father Tom: In fact, whenever we are
just too enthusiastic about a project—even a saintly one—we are
wise to draw back for a moment to examine our motives and especially to see if
the project is in line with our commitment in the Institute.
