Bookd are produced in enormous numbers by the various publishers but what counts is to reach the readers, to reach souls (VMC 1252).
From Father Tom: Well, yes, we've (got) to reach them, but...reaching them is not enough. If that were the case we could say that all those who read good books were converted. Instead, tehy are, perhaps, impressed, but only when we add our prayer and sacrifice can they be said to have changed.
