The Son of God became human to offer Himself as a victim of peace and love (BM 290).
From Father Tom: But also to enable us to become united with God in time and in eternity. At Baptism not only does the Son enter our lives but so also do the Father and the Spirit! We are already Part of the Holy Trinity if we don not cast God out by serious sin!
