At Easter Vigil the proclamation of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ is announced. The Gloria is solemn; the organ and the bells ring: the priests wear white vestments; the alleluia often resounds…Everything is renewed. Souls are renewed too: new, active life (BM, 590).
