THE MOST HOLY
BODY AND BLOOD OF CHRIST
Ex 24: 3-8
Heb 9: 11-15
Mk. 14: 12-26
The cult of the Eucharist is the center of all religion and it
gives sacred warmth to all the functions.
All functions go back to the Eucharist like the rays of the Monstrance
(BM 432).
Fr. Tom: Undoubtedly, but how much
disrespect and lack of reverence surrounds the Eucharist in our time! How unworthy so many people may well be! How little thanksgiving—if any—afterward. And are we priests free of blame in this
connection? No, we also have our faults
unfortunately. Pray for us!
