Vocation is an act of special love of God for us.  "He called to Himself those He wanted." (FSP 44 p. 623).

From Father Tom: How true!  In July of  (my?) 22nd year I was a typical Irish youth. By July of my 23rd year I was (you might say) a religious fanatic!  "Our Lord poured out on me the grace and love which are ours in Christ Jesus" (1 Tim 14).  He did something similar for you--never forget it.
