The Holy Spirit, giver of life to the Church, gives faith to individuals and peoples and also gives hope and charity to hearts (Mihi vivere Christus est, 145)

From Father Tom: We reflect too rarely on the gifts of the Holy Spirit and on His importance in our lives. And yet it was He Who visibly inaugurated the Church on the First Pentecost Sunday, not Jesus. "Come, Holy Spirit...fill our hearts and minds with Your gifts and inspire us to use them for ourselves and for all those we meet."
