MONTHLY INTENTION

For all candidates to the priesthood and religious life, that they may be well prepared for the many new challenges confronting the Catholic priesthood today.

They will be well-prepared -- better than hundreds who in recent years have fallen from the high plane to which Ordination had elevated them. So there are good hopes for the future priesthood. But, what sort of future has the Catholic laity, bearing the scars of broken marriages, broken lives and broken hearts?
