Centenary Year of SSP Foundation & Pauline Charism

Centenary Year of SSP Foundation and Pauline Charism

A Centennial of Graces

We are celebrating a centennial of graces. What you are now and what you have now are all because of God. God has provided you with good seeds (Mark 4:8). God sent you to fertile soils. God nourished you with all the necessary and valuable tools. And at the end of the day, even seasons and years, you reap a bountiful and beautiful harvest. Centennial years!

Mk 4: 35-14

MONTHLY INTENTION

That, as we come closer to the celebration of our Centenary, we may become aware of our twofold responsibilities: to thank the Master for calling us to this wonderful vocation and to ask His pardon for our failure to correspond fully to it.

From Father Tom: Do we really think our vocation is "wonderful"? Or that we--from the hundreds of thousands who heard about the Institute--actually had the special divine help to answer it? Thank you, Jesus, for seeing me as one in thousands.

"There's no such thing as a bad boy." Did John Bosco say this...or Fr. Flanagan? And were they right?

From Father Tom: Probably, yes. Don't we all come into the world with a sparkling new spirit created by the Almighty? And sometimes made the dwelling-place of the Lord? If our present situation is not quite like that, let's begin today to set things right.
