ADVENT WEEKDAY
Gen 49: 2, 8-10
Mt 1: 1-7
Every priest encounters two judgments: that of man and that of God. Fro the latter, which is the only one that counts, I beg everyone in time to obtain the mercy of the Lord for me (UPS 1/374).
From Father Tom: Too often our concern is with the judgment on our activities of our contemporaries--or perhaps our judgment on theirs. How wasteful! Judgments add nothing to the reality (which is what God looks at).
