The family is the first place where human beings are made holy. It is the first society instituted by God and sanctified by Jesus Christ. In the family we should look for formation in proper living, good example, constant charity and continuous labor (MB 169/170).

From Father Tom: Confronting this definition with the reality in too many families today, we have to fear for the world of tomorrow--can it become worse or more tormented or attacked?
