MONTHLY INTENTION
For Humanity: "The joys and the hopes, the sorrows and the anxieties of the men of today, of the poor above all and of all those who suffer are also the joys and the hopes, the sorrows and the anxieties of the disciples of Christ, and there is nothing genuinely human that does not find an echo in their heart" (Gaudium et Specs 1).May the light of Jesus Christ give(s) us light; may the power of the Father strengthen and support us, and may the infusion of the Holy Spirit console and sanctify us (SP Apr 1952).

From Father Tom: To a world somewhat in awe of the Church and perhaps finding it unfeeling, the final magnificent Council statement in December, 1965, was aimed at setting forth the truth. Unfortunately it got lost in the whirlwind of good and not-so-good changes.
