One enters Paradise either an innocent soul or a repentant one. After we have sinned, we enter as penitents (FSP 43, p. 429).

FROM FATHER TOM: A consoling thought here is that our repentance may be so great that we enter more worthy of eternal happiness than if we had not sinned!
