No gift of God
should be wasted, for instance the mind, which is the most precious gift: how
many pastures are poisoned, especially today, due to books, the radio, the
cinema, television! How many thoughts are contrary to faith and virtue! The
minds of many people are unguarded and harbor the strangest things! (ACV, p81).
