The apostolate of vocation is the first apostolate that Jesus did. If it is the first one, it is because it is the most pleasing and the most necessary. So you have the most necessary, the highest, the most sublime apostolate, the one that Jesus carried out in the first place (AP (1962, p 258).

Jesus, heal our lives,

Our broken spirits,

Our hearts and minds

 Our body and soul.

Jesus, hear our prayer

You know our weakness,

Our struggle and pain,

For You too have suffered.

Jesus, listen in love

As You did at Cana

To Your mother Mary

And respond in mercy.
