The apostolate of
vocation is the first apostolate that Jesus did. If it is the first one, it is
because it is the most pleasing and the most necessary. So you have the most
necessary, the highest, the most sublime apostolate, the one that Jesus carried
out in the first place (AP (1962, p 258).
