For the conversion of those who, in the use of the instruments of social communication, refuse to acknowledge the Magisterium of Christ and of the Church, thus deviating the mind, the heart and the activities of men.

FROM FATHER TOM: But first we must convert ourselves. The Founder began with four hours of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. It would be interesting to check if this member or that passes any hours.

If envy reigns, the charity of Jesus is not there; if anger reigns, the meekness of Jesus is not there (APD 1956, 276).

FROM FATHER TOM:  We are generally aware if we are angry or not but envy is something else: a sort of corrosion which wears away the good feelings we should have and makes them seem justified.

The poor people, when they stand before the rich with their torn clothes and their beseeching demeanor, they reveal their total need and all their hope (BM p. 635).

FROM FATHER TOM:  And the real poor?  Have we not all been told who they are? Do we know? Yes, we do, because all too often we ourselves are the real poor--lacking in virtue, in Divine Grace, in holiness.
