There is a particular rapport between Saint Joseph and the Brothers. Like him they find their joy in the spirit of prayer, in humble conformity to the will of God, in active silence (SP Mar 1950).

From Father Tom: Actually it is probably true to suggest that most women are as strong as or even stronger than men: if not physically, then in their ability to bear the special challenges women face. And are there not more women saints?
