Wasting one's mind is an abuse of the great means the Lord gave us to honor Him (APD 1963, 144).
From Father Tom: This was a favorite theme of the Founder who saw even reading about sporting events as waste. What would he say about so much mental confusion as is available today--powered by media he never knew--can only be guessed.
