The members of a Religious family must pray willingly for one another, invoke those who had died, and offer suffrages for those who could still be in Purgatory. We should also pray for those to whom our work is directed (UPS IV 220).

From Father Tom: Interesting point: How often do we pray to our ask the assistance of our dead brothers and sisters--quite a striking number in view of our total membership?
