A soul truly called to the cloister enters it to find God, to exercise the most effective apostolate, to destroy the "old man" and put on the new one (Maria Regina degli Apostoli, p. 39).

From Father Tom: But this does not happen overnight or in every case and so too often we have a double loss: a life neither well-spent humanly (the challenges of family living) not spiritually.
