Union with the Eucharistic Jesus recalls and prepares eternal
union with Him in Heaven (BM p. 436).
Fr.
Tom: This seems to assume that our union will not be a
simple reception of the Host, but a constant remembrance of that event all the
time afterward and a constant preparation for the next time we receive the
Lord. The way to do this is to cultivate
frequent invocations even if we are very taken up with our daily work.
