Like St. Paul, we are “debtors to all people”, meaning we must
lover them without distinction and reach out to everyone (SP March 1951).
Fr. Tom: We can do this quite easily
with our activity because we do not actually know whom it
reaches. More difficult is to preach the
word in public (or in private giving a word of advice). We need plenty of prayer for those we reach
in both ways.
