OF THE DAY
1 Pt 1: 10-16
Mk 10: 28-31
The life of perfection requires greater sacrifices and greater
struggles and mortifications but there is then the hundredfold reward and life
eternal (WPS II 28.59).
Fr. Tom: We spoke about “perfection”
several times. It involves being “fully
finished” and so varies from a Mars Rover to a human being: the first does not allow for defects, the
second allows for them and uses them to gain a higher reward—which might not
have happened if there were no defects!
