The world is running toward the cliff-edge because people are in darkness and is it not our duty to enlighten them? (VMC 1000).
From Father Tom: Of course, but are we (the Church generally) actually doing that? Are we not rather leaving people in a dangerous complacency. When did you last hear a homily on death or purgatory or hell or judgment?
