We lose time when we don't work for heaven but only for the present life, for honors or for earthly reasons (BM 41).
From Father Tom: Funnily enough, we can look for spiritual "honor"--things done, what people said about our work, how many listened to us, etc. Let's not fall into this trap. "amen, amen, I say to you, they already have their reward."
