The habit of thinking good thoughts and of sincerely desiring what is good, gives to our attitude true goodness, constant frankness and habitual serenity (BM p. 91).
From Father Tom: I would imagine that "constant frankness" means "readiness to speak well or point out the good:, and not readiness to point out faults unless we have the duty, e.g. as parents.
