The Pauline satisfied with his state and working for heaven is always happy and serene even in the midst of difficult situations (BM 39).
From Father Tom: The Founder, of course, is thinking of us Religious. To be happy and serene in the midst of family difficulties is another thing altogether--but the Master is aware of that. Old saying: "God fits the back to the burden" (or should it be: " the burden to the back?).
