A good and holy word, if we say it well, can reach the depths of a soul and can act as a ray of light (FSP 293).
So we're not talking of a "word", a "sound", but a sound proceeding from a good and holy PERSON. If you're good and holy, your words will not be lost in the air. If you're not, then...
