Sometimes we have a secret fear of getting too involved in good works - we think we're smart, but we're not (VMC 958).
From Father Tom: This has always been a problem in the old-style religious life. the good people gave us all sorts of assistance, life was pleasant and the idea of getting out of our recliners was distinctly unwelcome. That is why I am convinced of the great value of the Institute vocation: religious commitment: and also big family challenges.
