The will is often proudly independent, wanting happiness, but looking for it where it does not exist (BM p. 124)
From Father Tom: The will is our precious possession, marking us off from the animals who follow instinct. The problem is to will or want the right thing, the best decision. And what is that? The Will of God in each time and place.
