Works that satisfy are especially almsgiving, fasting and prayer--they suppress our three basic cravings: avarice, sensuality and pride (BM 457).
From Father Tom: But each of us has to choose which area to concentrate on. Perhaps it's none of the above and we require e.g. more courage in "evangelizing", or better understanding of our vocation?
