Love for Jesus consists in conformity to His will, in true fervor in virtue, in living and practicing faith. Just taking about loving Him is not enough (M. 347).
From Father Tom: Which is a consoling reaching as very often we have to serve the Lord while experiencing incessant pain or very adverse circumstances. Jesus, after all, showwed the maximum love on Calvary.
