If I am united with God I communicate many fruits, but away from Him nothing at all (BM 117).
From Father Tom: How much we Paulines have to keep that in mind! To produce, to distribute, even to have a favorable reaction is possible without prayer. But there is no conversion without God--we are just "sounding brass and tinkling cymbal."
