THE ANNUNCIATION OF THE LORD
Is 7-10
Lk 1: 26-38
By means of Baptism the "old man" is put aside and the "new man" is put on . (BM 417)
From Father Tom: And what a painful process that is! Prayers, resolutions, promises, plans, goals...nothing seems to change. But it does. Do you remember when you just prayed and never thought of an ongoing improvement in your life? Now you do. Now THAT'S change!

SECOND SUNDAY OF EASTER DIVINE MERCY
Acts 5: 12-16
Ap 1: 9:19
Jn 20: 19-31
St. Thomas the Apostle truly believed when he touched the wounds of Jesus. Blessed are we if we believe, if we truly believe (PDDM 89, 90).
From Father Tom: And to get to that stage, we will normally have to experience the wounds of our own sins and defects and realize that we need the Risen Lord to heal us.
Please Pray for Our Deceased: Sr. Giuseppina Favato PD (1933)--Sr. M. Annunziata Micca PD (1977)-- Medina twins (1951)-- Peter Candela Jr (1954).
