Jesus requires the pardoning of offences and states openly that God does not accept the offering of a vindictive heart (BM 623/4).

From Father Tom: Well, that puts it very clearly and, fortunately, none of us has (a)  vindictive heart, but we may have a brooding heart and that requires the Divine Cardiologist.
