The Institute, which began without any economic fund and lived in a spirit of poverty, always received help from generous and faithful Cooperators. At times, they were helps that went beyond the ordinary limits (SP Jan 1953).

From Father Tom:  The quotes this month all appear to be centered on modest beginning and are very suitable for our Canfield situation. Here we have a reference to good people who helped and are still helping the Pauline Family's work--and will have the hundred-fold reward.
