Even if we save just one soul, working for it for an entire life would be worthwhile--after all, Jesus died for it! (VM 1238)
In fact it is our soul that explains the extraordinary efforts of God to bring us to Him after death and his constant care for us during life to the extent of living in us and with us! How much more could I have done?
