The Institute is a body with various members. To form oneself and enclose oneself in one's own way of seeing and organizing one's life is to separate oneself from the body (APD, 1957)
The Founder is talking about the Pauline Religious Life, but what he says makes sense for us also: concentrate on Pauline prayer and practice and trust in the Master that He will look after other "good causes" precisely because we look after ours!
