When you are happy, it's easier to become holy--happiness in the sense of sound optimism (APD, 1957, 123)


Not too easy to be happy these days--it almost seems a fault when we look at the suffering world around us and the--alas!--far worse condition of millions living outside the Church in some sense. But we have the optimism conferred by our HFI membership well lived--and well-shared with others (don't forget the important part!)
