Grace is spiritual energy which we obtain through prayer and the Sacraments. If we did not have these means we would know about religion, but would have no desire to practice it (VMC 125)

Interesting thought. We take our prayer and interest in spirituality for granted but always "without Me you can do nothing" applies.
