If we ant to help souls, to give them the Divine Master, then we must first possess Him-- nobody can give what he or she has not got (VMC 1163).
From Father Tom: This seems so obvious, doesn't it? And yet we "count our chickens" (= external results) with marked satisfaction but don't always ask ourselves how we rate vis a vis the Master.
