When one becomes blind and hard of heart, he believes himself to be smarter than others and despises them (RSP 418/9).
From Father Tom: Very true. And perhaps this explains in part why we have problems finding new people. Hard of heart? Maybe not. Blind? Unfortunately, yes. The HFI has possibilities none of us has understood yet. Let's be faithful to it...and forceful in promoting it.
